Oenorama 2026
Oenorama is the largest and most prominent wine exhibition in Greece, as well as the leading showcase for Greek wine globally. Held in Athens since 1994, this year’s event moves to a new venue: ONASSIS READY (2 Stratis Tsirkas St., 18233 Ag. Ioannis Rentis). This change follows the Zappeion Megaron’s unexpected closure starting March 1, 2026, for renovations ahead of the 2027 Greek Presidency of the EU. Each year, approximately 10,000 wine enthusiasts and professionals from Greece and abroad attend the exhibition. Oenorama 2026 features nearly 250 exhibitors, showcasing 2,500 wines from Greece and around the world, alongside nearly 100 Greek spirits.
Building on last year’s theme, the exhibition offers an even deeper dive into the world of wine, focusing on the stories behind the labels, the terroirs (unique places of origin), and the vintages —the specific years the grapes are grown and harvested.
Key Highlights of Oenorama 2026:
- Wine Revelations: A popular section featuring boutique and/or newly launched wineries, ideal for consumers and professionals looking to discover the rising stars of tomorrow.
- The Assyrtiko Wine Bar: Dedicated to single-varietal Assyrtiko wines from across Greece, including PDO Santorini from the variety's birthplace. This curated tasting highlights the full range and diversity of Assyrtiko varietal through its various regional expressions.
